Good morning, esteemed guests. You had quite an eventful weekend, didn't you? Let's see how you're able to move on now...

As you awaken on Monday, you’ll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the pool’s been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, you’ll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.

Your room service menus are still on your desks if you wish to browse before leaving for the day.

The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar. However, you will find that upon entering the location, the area to the north is fixed to one place.

In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 05. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heart’s content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.

After everything last week, you may feel like it's time to put all of your feelings back inside and bury them away. You were...affectionate? How embarrassing for you. Perhaps that's something you'd like to forget. Conveniently for you...that may happen to you this week. Throughout the week, guests will find that they will experience small instances of "loss" occurring to them. You may find yourself losing certain memories, certain skills, or even certain senses. Don't worry, they will always come back after a while! But it seems that these instances come and go without warning. Hopefully you can prepare yourself for that.

Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

On Wednesday morning, you are all awoken to a strange clicking noise. When you seek out the source, a ding! is heard and a message is on display.

PART ONE

[For those of you who exit through the front door of the hotel, you will soon find yourself in what appears to be a hedge maze. It's tall, taller than any of you can see and deep and winding. As you walk further ahead, clouds above you begin to form into a message.]

Emerge triumphant from this maze for your reward. We will meet you on the other end.

Good luck. - Management

[As the clouds dissipate, the maze closes behind you and walls you in. The only way now is forward, but perhaps it isn't that easy. Hopefully you came prepared. The maze stretches before you, winding and turning. It's dangerous to go alone...take a friend and watch out for the following.

▶︎ The longer you're in the maze, the more often you may feel compelled to keep turning in one direction rather than make your way forward.
▶︎ Traps and pitfalls will spring up around corners including snares, arrows, spikes and more. Getting caught in these will send you back several yards.
▶︎ In addition, you will find yourself running into a variety of monsters such as griffins, dragons, large snakes, hydras, minotaurs, and other monsters in that same vein.
▶︎ Your memory, sense, and skill loss may be more prevalent and last longer the longer you remain in the maze...best move quickly.]

A. [ dimitri will pull whoever back and out of danger, placing himself in harms way. ]

B. [ dimitri forgets what's going on and also balance and shoves whoever right into a trap? sorry, ]

I. follow the... red fox?

[ you would be forgiven for double taking when seeing a flash of crimson-ish orange just - appearing and disappearing, before reappearing again.

this is because hua cheng is actively throwing tanhua into the air to try and see over the top of the maze, or sending him off to scout the maze. you can pick either of these options. or...

more than once, the retriever-sized huli jing gets lost on his own. with familiar faces, he bounds right up, all nine tails wiggling as he whines, tugging on loose clothes with his teeth (carefully).

less familiar faces, he dashes off, stops, then rounds corners when you get close. is he leading you further astray? or to safety? or to his person? hard to tell. ]

II. ( twd voice ) dead monsters end ahead

[ minding your own business? so was he.

but hua cheng comes around a corner in your direction with a brisk speed, either ignoring his healing injuries or just not feeling them right now. and there is a terrible, roaring, shrieking sound coming from the direction he's leaving. he doesn't seem particularly concerned, but does raise both brows upon seeing someone else. ]

Up for some monster hunting? Otherwise, I'd turn around if I were you.

[ roll for initiative! or pick a monster. either way, it actually appears that he was coming out here to have more room, because he's not fleeing - he's turning back to face whatever was tearing out after him. ]

III. w...wildcard?

[ stuck in a trap? want to make fun of hua cheng for being in a trap? lose something that'd be funny? it goes here. ]

[why is lup standing here arguing with a griffin with her hands on her hips? good question. you'd think she'd have the sense to just ignore it and wander away. maybe she lost that sense or something.

I'm going to nod and pretend that's the real reason I'll let you follow me around, and not because I suspect you might be actually be not very good at mazes right now.

[ well she was trying to toddle her way to tanhua's occasional flashing head but her sense of direction is completely shot all of a sudden. maze??? are the worst??? the usual trick of putting your hand on the wall and following that has failed her massively.

but you know, sometimes your really bad luck works out for the best because hey!! it's hua cheng himself!! .........and a very angry thing behind him :pika: ]

It wouldn't be the first time this week...!

[ the dice were nice enough to give me a 17, so thank goodness for that small favor right now. futaba and all her bruises dodge roll to safety ]

[ is she just recruiting human shields. he narrowly avoids getting shot this time, looking over his shoulder at her. ]

[ he's? mostly doing fine? at not getting lost? his sense of direction hasn't reached zoro one piece levels, at least, so he's just meandering along and having A Time. his arms are kind of tired from throwing a 60 lb fox into the air, though.

but tanhua lets out a startled yap and scampers after futaba as she dodge rolls, skidding and whipping around to stand in front of her with his tails bristled and teeth bared at the ( rolls my dice ) a mid-sized sedan of a dragon that rounds the corner. ]

Not the - Stop going in doors!

but they're both going to fall backwards into a pitfall when he stumbles ]
