Good morning, esteemed guests. You had quite an eventful weekend, didn't you? Let's see how you're able to move on now...

As you awaken on Monday, you’ll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the pool’s been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, you’ll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.

Your room service menus are still on your desks if you wish to browse before leaving for the day.

The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar. However, you will find that upon entering the location, the area to the north is fixed to one place.

In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 05. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heart’s content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.

After everything last week, you may feel like it's time to put all of your feelings back inside and bury them away. You were...affectionate? How embarrassing for you. Perhaps that's something you'd like to forget. Conveniently for you...that may happen to you this week. Throughout the week, guests will find that they will experience small instances of "loss" occurring to them. You may find yourself losing certain memories, certain skills, or even certain senses. Don't worry, they will always come back after a while! But it seems that these instances come and go without warning. Hopefully you can prepare yourself for that.

Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

[she kicks her feet back and forth a little. her shoe probably falls off, and she frowns.]

Aw, beans. [...] Anyway. Not even alcohol will solve it?

[there's a light jolt when her shoe falls off, as though they expected worse.

[she falls off next

no, she just nods a little.]

Fair enough. I guess you'll just have to suffer my company for a bit, then, since I can't go get you anything. That way it can get really bad.

Shouldn't you be dancing or something?

I did! I'm taking a break. I wanted to wallflower a bit.

well, they can't really argue against THAT, so they fall silent.]

[she also falls silent for now, but she seems happy enough to be here. content, at least, letting her feet kick back and forth.

... she probably loses her other shoe, but this time it's on purpose, like she's trying to see how far she can yeet it.]

[lepus is the last person who would scold her if she accidentally hits someone with her shoe, so they just watch this happen.]

[throws her shoe into space

nobody volunteered to get hit by a shoe so it thuds against a wall, and she does a fistpump and goes:]

Yeet. Congrats.

Did you see how far it went? I'm a tactical genius.

also she wobbles dangerously on this ledge.]

You're not the boss of me. [she says cheerfully, kicking her feet.]

And yes. It is. I measured all the angles in my brain and threw it at exact... velocity. [she has had a bit to drink but she's got the spirit.]

You sure about that? You didn't even manage to hit anyone with it. Don't think that word means what you think it does, either.

[evocationary]

[that's her name!]

I - was trying! Nobody walked in the way! [huff.] I should've tried to hit one of the staff. My shoes are gone, though.

Well, that's a pity. [lepus personally would've loved to see one of the other staff get hit with a shoe?] At least you're not trying to climb back down in those.

I would've made it. I'm a scientist.

[a pause.] Summon me another shoe, let me see if I can hit someone.
