Rise and shine; you know how Saturdays go. Even if you'd rather sleep in, you'll find yourself waking up and getting out of bed. Once you're out of your room, a door appears down the hallway, compelling you to walk towards it. Upon entering, you'll discover a room that's familiar if you've gone exploring this week or possibly from even before then:

EMPORIUM (THE REALM)
The exterior of the building is welcoming, with windows lined with various eye-catching trinkets, ranging from stuffed animals to t-shirts. After stepping inside, the very first thing that will greet guests is a statue made out of L*gos. Yes, the black bar is somehow there.

The interior is filled with row upon row of shelves filled with different items. There is a collection of stuffed animals, ranging in size from small enough to hide in your pocket to some as big as a toddler. There's a wide range of other toys as well, like dolls, L*gos, puzzles, and more. Different display cases show off pins, lanyards, keychains, sunglasses, jewelry, and other accessories. Participants may even find one of those keychains with their name on it...?

If you consider it a typical souvenir item, it's here. Cups, shot glasses, pens, t-shirts, hats... Everything is stacked neatly, proudly displaying the silhouette of a castle. There are also now items featuring tigers, rabbits, goats, swans, wolves, and foxes. However, there is no one at the cash register, so it seems like participants can't purchase anything.

There are a few tables in here behind room dividers. One is labeled 'Evidence' while the rest are covered in white sheets. Elsewhere in the room is a table with pencils and slips of paper for voting.

Welcome to your sixth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST to 5pm EST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes 9pm EST. Voting is mandatory in this game.

okay, well, where is the blood? all over? or in a specific place?]

[ the blood seems to be mostly concentrated in the area of his head! ]

are his eyes open? where's the blood coming from on his head? she'll open his mouth to see, too.]

[ his eyes are open, yes!

the first thing lup will notice is that there's blood in the lower lids of his eyes, and it is streaking down emet-selch's cheeks. when she checks his mouth, she will see that there's some blood in his mouth, on his lips, and down his chin. ]

are his eyes red? are his nose and ears bleeding too, or does it just look like it came from his eyes?]

[ his eyes are red, that's correct! and his nose and ears are also bleeding. ]

[does it look like the sort of red from like being high or is it more like restricted airflow red?

is there anything in his mouth at all? if there's not she'll move up to look through his hair and at his scalp.]

[ i had to furiously google this but i see now. to disappoint chat, it's less like a red from being high and more like a restricted airflow, yes. lots of blood.

nothing in his mouth besides blood. as lup moves up through his hair and his scalp, she will feel a dent on emet-selch's head, and her hand will come away bloody. ]

[MAKES A REALLY DISMAYED LOOK emet-selch you have betrayed her for the last time

she just. wrinkles her nose, and keeps looking. a dent? how big, is it a certain shape, clean, rough? is the skull cracked? are there brains.]

[ it's of a decent size and nearly straight in terms of shape. the skull is definitely cracked, but there's no brain matter! ]

[thank god. who the fuck hit emet on the head, he's 80 feet tall.

what does... nearly straight mean, like... an oblong sort of wound or like, he donked his head against something?]

the head donk seems more likely. ]

okay, well. head donk. is there anything in the wound itself other than just blood? and then she'll move down to check out his shoulders and neck. anything weird here?]

anyway! only blood in the wound. as she moves down to emet's neck, she will see four roughly parallel scratches across his throat, starting at the side.

nothing weird about the shoulders. ]

[that's fair

oh, okay, interesting. how big/thick are the scratches? are they like, neat or jagged? i assume the side they started on doesn't matter.]

[guestservices]

[ the scratches are sort of medium sized. they're not necessarily jagged, but they aren't perfectly neat either, if that makes sense, though the parallel spacing is. and they start on the left side! ]

[evocationary]

[neat, okay. anything in them? how big are they like... if she puts her finger up against the scratches to measure them vertically, how thick are they in comparison to her finger. does that make sense.

she'll check his torso, next. is he wearing his usual robes?]

[ it does! and when lup puts her finger to the scratches, she might notice that it's... thinner than her fingers....but she will notice that her nail might be a good match for the size! especially if it were perhaps a nail on someone with much, much, much larger hands.

emet is wearing his usual robes, yes! there's nothing visibly strange about his torso. ]
