Good morning, esteemed guests. What a terrible day to be awake. But perhaps it's a little easier now that you've experienced two executions...congratulations to you for the send-off of a teenage girl.

As you awaken on Monday, you’ll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the pool’s been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, you’ll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.

Your room service menus are still on your desks if you wish to browse before leaving for the day.

The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar.

In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 02. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heart’s content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.

You may be trying to learn about each other, but what do you do when you hardly recognize one another? It's unfortunate that this week is one where appearances are no longer a solid identifier. Throughout the week you will find your body taking on new features against your own will. Whether these are animalistic features, elemental features, feathers, shadows, stone, magma...extra eyes, fangs, wings...they will adapt to you and you'll hardly feel a thing. Time to get comfortable in your skin.

Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

► There are about five grown wisteria trees in the garden now. Pretty!

CEMETERY
► The soil on Clementine's grave appears lightly disturbed.
► In addition to the preexisting flowers, small bouquets of white carnations have been arranged on Clementine, Sieghart and Flayn's graves.

CONCIERGE
► Various brochures have been slashed. The desk has also been hacked at.

VENDING MACHINE
► A vending machine has dents in it now.

GIFT SHOP
► Random merchandise has been knocked off the shelves and smashed onto the ground.

TUESDAY

FLOOR 02
► The locked room was unlocked! Wow! Go check that out.

LOBBY.
► There are a plate of cinnamon rolls sitting out with a little sign next to them that says FREE TO A GOOD HOME AND THE HOME IS YOUR STOMACH. Take one?

[did you enjoy getting locked in last night? at least you were probably used to it. well, you should have been, since it happened last week. anyway, at least it's over now, as the rooms unlock once more and you're free to go, especially since absolutely nothing happened during the night.

anyway, as you exit or make a move to, you'll find something strange happening. your feet move on their own, guiding you to a specific location.

On Friday morning, you awaken to the loud sounds of a typewriter tapping away at a message, and a shrill ding! as a line completes.

Strangely, there's no printout on your typewriter, if you're near one. Instead, when you open your eyes, there's a folded piece of paper on your chest that looks a little something like this.

[anyone who wanders into the lobby on monday morning is going to find rupert behind the front desk! it looks like he's switched from gauze over his eye to a nondescript eyepatch, but maybe more notable than that, he's wearing a staff uniform. it's complete with a hat, though there's no veil like the other staff members wear. the fabric towards the top of the hat seems to be kind of bunched up, like there's something underneath pushing up against it. transformation week...

should anyone approach, he raises a hand in greeting and then asks, cheerfully:]

the outfit he seems to have picked out is this. however. the pants are backwards, the shirt is inside out and misbuttoned, the ascot is wildly lop-sided and hanging on by the grace of god, and the big poofy hat seems to be folding in on itself. it has the energy of this.

when he sees you, he spreads his arms out and the ascot dangles precariously further off his neck.]
