Good morning, esteemed guests. What a terrible day to be awake. But perhaps it's a little easier now that you've experienced two executions...congratulations to you for the send-off of a teenage girl.
As you awaken on Monday, youโll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the poolโs been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, youโll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.
Your room service menus are still on your desks if you wish to browse before leaving for the day.
The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar.
In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 02. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heartโs content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.
You may be trying to learn about each other, but what do you do when you hardly recognize one another? It's unfortunate that this week is one where appearances are no longer a solid identifier. Throughout the week you will find your body taking on new features against your own will. Whether these are animalistic features, elemental features, feathers, shadows, stone, magma...extra eyes, fangs, wings...they will adapt to you and you'll hardly feel a thing. Time to get comfortable in your skin.
Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

anyway, as you exit or make a move to, you'll find something strange happening. your feet move on their own, guiding you to a specific location.
once you stop, you and one other person are standing at the entrance to the simulation room!

On Friday morning, you awaken to the loud sounds of a typewriter tapping away at a message, and a shrill ding! as a line completes.
Strangely, there's no printout on your typewriter, if you're near one. Instead, when you open your eyes, there's a folded piece of paper on your chest that looks a little something like this.

Ten seconds later he's coming back through the door and bolting in the direction of his room. If you happen to catch sigh of him, he looks pale and shaken up. How weird for a normally-bubbly guy.]

tuesday at noon, 1/2
...and then after hanging these up he remembers the typewriters are a thing, and you all get a message: ]
[ when noon rolls around, sebastian will come running into the lobby!! ]
Hey, guys!! You know how there was another one of those suspicious unlabeled doors this week? Well, we got inside!
[ extends his baton and taps it in his hand like a teacher with a pointer ]
This one was called the employee lounge! It was pretty fancy inside, and they have some snacks and sodas that it says are free for anyone, so like... [ shrugs?? free snacks maybe??? ] Anyway. They have files on all of us in there with personal details and stuff. Like how many people we've killed and what we did back home and our experiences with bees, and, uh... [ trails off, and if emet is here, he will look at him in confusion. ]
2/2
Right. There was also a corkboard with some information on it—it listed which location would be beyond the hotel doors each week, where the trial would take place, and which of the hotel staff would be on duty for it. I didn't see anything beyond this week though.
There were also some drawings... a dog, a cat and a tree. No idea if this has any significance. [ ??? ]
The last thing we found was a cabinet that had eight room keys, which were labelled A through H. They might belong to the hotel staff, I'm guessing?
We couldn't grab them, since a bright light suddenly went off and the keys vanished before we were pushed out of the room.
[ dizzy, confused... ]

the first splash hits loudly, all impact disturbing the previously calm water, and mikazuki munechika slams right into the deep end. though it doesn't take long before the chlorine to take on a red coloration, dark and - oh there's so much of it.

well, he had a white jacket but it's practically burnt all over with crisp and tattered ends. it's not so much a jacket anymore really, which makes you wonder about the state of the wearer then huh? the pool darkens more with color as the figure reaches out with a bloody mess of a hand and just
focuses on pushing the previous body of grandpa up. come on old man, can't spend the whole day trying to fish you out, especially whenโ ]

The first to crawl out of the pile of clothes is Estelle! She looks a little different today. Instead of her usual dress, she's wearing a school uniform. There's a pink skirt, a white collared shirt that seems to be missing its tie, and a light yellow vest. The clothes are mostly unstained...
...until one looks down to her knee-high stockings, to see that the right one is torn and drenched in bright-red blood.
She pulls herself up on one knee and looks back at the clothing-pile with alarm. Then, she yells out for anyone to hear:]
Somebody! Come quickly!
2/?
...that's not fair. there's some color: a big splotch of red at his left side, right where the fabric is torn, growing more with each movement he makes. and there are smaller spots of red here and there as well the uniform is in terrible shape overall, randomly torn all over to match the scratches and cuts from the tip of his cat ears to the palms of his hands. it might be hard to notice that, though, with the bright paint covering his hands. oh well!
slowly, he pushes himself to his feet, wobbling the whole way as if he could fall over, back into the pile, at any moment. he gives estelle a Look and says softly: ]
Take it easy, Stella.
[ ...and turns back to the pile to start moving clothing aside. ]

SUITE DREAMS ๐๐
โฆโงโชโงโฆ
When Thursday evening rolls around in the hotel, you can almost feel the tension in the air. Why in the world would it feel tense? It's just a hotel. Just another night.
Maybe you're ready for it, though. At eleven o'clock, everything falls eerily, eerily silent, and then there is a single click noise, as the door in the room you're in locks. No matter how much you kick at the doors, no matter if you put your key in your own lock, no matter how you scream or yell, it seems as though you're locked in for the night. The typewriters in the room refuse to type characters. The newly installed phones have no dial tones. There's just nothing.
Silence.
But you're used to this, right?
A familiar hour passes, this way.
As the clock strikes midnight, however, an overwhelming amount of shadows crawl up the walls of the room you're in, pitching the room into complete darkness, and then, just like that, you're fast asleep.
Sweet dreams, guests. We'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning.
Have a nice rest. See you Friday, at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST for...A Thing. ♥
