Good morning, esteemed guests. What a terrible day to be awake. But perhaps it's a little easier now that you've experienced two executions...congratulations to you for the send-off of a teenage girl.

As you awaken on Monday, you’ll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the pool’s been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, you’ll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.

Your room service menus are still on your desks if you wish to browse before leaving for the day.

The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar.

In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 02. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heart’s content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.

You may be trying to learn about each other, but what do you do when you hardly recognize one another? It's unfortunate that this week is one where appearances are no longer a solid identifier. Throughout the week you will find your body taking on new features against your own will. Whether these are animalistic features, elemental features, feathers, shadows, stone, magma...extra eyes, fangs, wings...they will adapt to you and you'll hardly feel a thing. Time to get comfortable in your skin.

Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

We've been sworn brothers for quite a long time. Since Diluc's father took me in.

[ slowly he sits up, leaning back on his hands and patting the soft grass and dirt next to him. ]

[He takes a seat next to him.]

Never heard that term before.

It was his father's way of... uniting us. Making sure that we would never be alone, I suppose, were something to happen to him.

[battling]

Partners, more or less, huh?

Looks like it worked out.

[callalilies]

That's right. Even through some of the worst times of our lives.

I'm rather grateful for that.

I think I'd have lived a very lonely life otherwise.

[battling]

... 's good to have people in your life.

[Even if...]

[ he sighs. ]

It's... quite a lonely place otherwise.

[ tilting his head ]

This place reminds me that I could have had a very lonely life. What about you, Bradley? Somewhere that reminds you of that?

[battling]

Of being lonely? Yeah, I got somewhere like that.

Not a place I'd want to hang out if I had any other choice.

[callalilies]

Oh... I meant... a place that reminds you that you aren't alone.

[ he nudges his shoulder with a chuckle. ]

[A laugh]

I could pick anywhere in the manor and somebody'd show up to remind me.

[callalilies]

Tell me a little? About your friends at home?

[ he reaches into his jacket and pulls out a flask, offering it over. ]

[battling]

[He'll take a sip.]

Most of 'em are more like my coworkers than my friends. Mithra keeps pullin' us into tea parties. Gotta watch him eat charcoal and Owen eat whipped cream with his fingers.

[There's a distinct sense of not enjoying these "parties".]
