WEEK SIX: TRIAL

W̴͍̎E̴̝̊E̸͚͝K̸͕̿ SIX: TRIAL
Rise and shine; you know how Saturdays go. Even if you'd rather sleep in, you'll find yourself waking up and getting out of bed. Once you're out of your room, a door appears down the hallway, compelling you to walk towards it. Upon entering, you'll discover a room that's familiar if you've gone exploring this week or possibly from even before then:
MAIN MEETING HALL (VILLAGE)
Should anyone venture inside, they'll find a number of long benches set up against the walls. At the head of the building are two chairs, a sun and a moon carved into the back of each. The area in the center is wide open, allowing plenty of space to move around and while decor is lacking, hanging from the walls are several blank scrolls. There's also a large (blank) scroll above the two chairs in the back.
There are a few tables in here behind room dividers. One is labeled 'Evidence' while the rest are covered in white sheets. Elsewhere in the room is a table with pencils and slips of paper for voting.
Welcome to your seventh trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST to 5pm EST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes 9pm EST. Voting is mandatory in this game.
Good luck!

okay. is the ice cream trailing over to where yuri is? is there a starting point for the ketchup and mustard and stuff that he can see anywhere/can he actually kind of follow this mess or is it just A Mess ]
no subject
CREAMY WHITE STUFF
and hold it awkwardly i guess, he isn't putting that in his pocket.
but. hm. ok. he can see it rising against his boots. ]
Sebastian... does it look like the white stuff is becoming... more?
[ is there the sound of a machine whirring nearby? this is, of course, totally inaccurate to real life and very unfair. the mcblurry machines would never work this long without breaking. ]
no subject
no subject
[ oh god ]
Oh jeez, did someone leave the ice cream machine on or something???
[ squints at wherever that whirring sound is coming from and points ]
I think it's coming from over there?
no subject
[ i hope it's a murder machine honestly. ]
Let's go check it out, but be careful you don't slip in this stuff.
[ let's go find the source of the CREAMY WHITE STUFF. ]
no subject
Anyhow, nothing immediately stands out about the counter itself beyond more condiment and ice cream messes, but the noise seems to be coming from behind it.]
no subject
he gets up carefully and puts forth his Best Effort to not slip and fall in this shit, and heads over to the counter with yuri... and just gets this look of horror and dread when he sees the pink ]
Ohhhhhhh no.......
O-or maybe it's just... strawberry syrup...?
no subject
... I'm not going to coddle you and lie about it, Sebastian. We both know what that probably is.
[ ... c'mon big guy. he'll go ahead, and around the counter. what are they looking at here. ]
no subject
no subject
MAYBE IT'S JUST KETCHUP ICE CREAM?????? ]
Nnngghhh... I don't see a lever or anything to turn it off...
no subject
[ hmm. anything else around the machine? is there anything notable about the slash mark -- is it wide or thin, which direction is it angled? ]
no subject
no subject
[ he will... carefully go behind the counter and look for a plug, i guess?? ]
no subject
LIKE A CORPSE? IN THE MACHINE?? :Stressed: ]
no subject
Nothing of note in the machine's vicinity!]
no subject
O-okay... um...
[ exactly how much pink is in it at this point?? and DOES NOTHING IN THE MACHINE'S VICINITY MEAN NOTHING INSIDE IT??? idek how much room there is inside an ice cream machine
is there like... anything notable about the ice cream on the floor back here? any... lumps under it... or places with more pink... ]
no subject
anyway. now they're not going to drown in ice cream-- ]
So we have a broken machine. Slash mark, quite long.
[ ... can he clamber up on the counter and try to force the top open to see the area where the ice cream would be? partially because holy crap how much ice cream does this thing hold, and obviously because the pink in the pink ice cream had to come from somewhere in the machine... right? :( ]
no subject
There are no lumps on the floor besides more of the candy toppings, but the pink does seem to intensify in the area where the Happy Meal boxes rest on a counter.]
no subject
but okay i guess we're checking out this UNHAPPY MEAL then... he will... very anxiously nudge some of the boxes with his baton to try to identify the source of The Pink ]
I-I think it's actually, um... coming from over here, maybe...?
no subject
[ he'll hop down off the counter. and then he'll help nudge some of these unhappy meal boxes around with sebastian. carefully and gingerly though. ]
no subject
Anyhow, Sebastian and Yuri can nudge the boxes away, albeit with some difficulty. Careful, though—the boxes also have the red and yellow streaks on them.
From under one box now that they've nudged it an inch or so away, they will see red peeking from the center of the napkin underneath.]
no subject
Nnngghh...
[ nudges the napkin to see what's under there... ]
no subject
...
[ look at sebastian go! yuri will try and nudge the box a little more. what's under the boxies? ]
no subject
no subject
what is the red on the napkin, is it blood? does it look like any of the boxes are leaking blood?? ]
M-maybe we should... look inside that box...?
[ since it seems to be WEIRDLY HEAVY according to this text ]
