WEEK ONE: MINGLE

W̴͍̎E̴̝̊E̸͚͝K̸͕̿ ONE: MINGLE
(33 ḡ̴̻u̷͌͜ê̴̯s̶̢͑t̵̻͝s̴̡̐ ̴c̴h̴e̶c̴k̷e̶d̸ ̶i̴n̴)
Good morning, esteemed guests. What a terrible day to be awake. Or perhaps it's not quite as terrible. The events of the day before were a bit extreme, but we hope you've had time to rest, regroup and refuel.
As you awaken on Monday, you’ll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the pool’s been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, you’ll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.
Before you even leave your room, you will find two new items have been placed on your desk. Be sure to peruse the room service menus before you start your day!
The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar.
In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 01. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heart’s content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.
There are several things that one may keep close to the chest. Secrets, thoughts, and most importantly emotions. In a situation such as this where the stakes are high and the questions are piling up, you may find yourself trying to conceal everything and hold back your feelings. However, that isn't the Starlight way. This week, you will find yourself a bit uncomfortable, almost as if there's something deeply lodged in your chest. Drinking doesn't help, and clearing your throat hardly works either. Before you know it, you find yourself coughing up a handful of flowers. The type of flowers may vary but they come in different shades, all representing your hidden feelings. Inconvenient, isn't it? You may wish to carry a bag around this week to collect your stray emotions before someone slips.
Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

[ sorry, that doesn't make her less livid. ]
Whether or not something was supposed to happen doesn't mean you can't get upset over it to any degree. I think it's justified, as long as it doesn't end in a gruesome cycle.
[ she's not saying eye for an eye, but she thinks it's reasonable to be angry about this no matter what had to happen or not. it's not like she thought the maf targets at camp were wrong to be upset, and she was the maf. ]

He had been angry and bitter about it regardless, yeah.]
You’re a pretty angry woman, aren’t you, Shinobu? I’m not sure it’s a great idea we’re alike that way.
[He just smirks a little and holds his hand out to get the broom back.]

I am angry when people get trampled on when they don't deserve it. I am angry when people think little of taking away someone's happiness or someone's life, as if it's just some stepping stone or some building block.
If you are angry like I am, I am sorry you've had to endure so much loss.
[ but she doesn't think she's wrong to be angry about all these things, so.
she's keeping this broom and cleans up some mess like she's trying to clean up her righteous anger. sweeps away some nasty blown up body bits from a previous murder. ]

After a moment, he tries to take the broom away by curling his hand around the hand just above hers. He doesn’t wrestle it, just holds it in a strong enough grip she can’t sweep anymore.]
Only someone blaming themselves would still have this kind of anger after such a long time. Know how I know?
[He doesn’t say how, but assumes she gets the idea.
He tries to pull the broom to himself.]
I’m the last person who would tell you not to be angry. It doesn’t ever go away. But it wasn’t your fault.

she lets him have the broom. she can get another one from some shadowy figure. she understands what he's getting at, and she offers him a faint smile. ]
I don't blame myself for everything. [ she would never create demons, but there are other things she's at fault for. ] There are some things I can't control, and there are evil people I won't hesitate to blame.
[ but there are things she does wish she could change about herself. ]
But if it's not my fault, what do you blame yourself for?
no subject
He doesn't say anything for a long time, like he's thoughtful. He even glances around a bit like he's deciding whether or not to answer, or maybe what he wants to say. The corner of his lips sort of turn up like it's a joke, but he sounds rather sincere saying it.]
Most days, being born.
[It's definitely not everything. But it's one of the things.]
no subject
she puts her hands over his where his are on the broom, if he lets her. ]
That, more than anything, isn't your fault. That, more than anything, saddens me to hear.
no subject
And don't think too hard on it. I'm not looking to die. I just don't mind admitting things would be better if I hadn't been around.
[when u have depression but ur stubborn]
no subject
[ if he doesn't want her gentleness, she can adapt. ]
You don't have to be running towards death to need more than what you have.
no subject
Terrible doesn't make it not true. You can't say that when you don't know me.
no subject
[ she smiles. ]
Please prove me wrong.
no subject
You're a real hardass, you know? Maybe I will.
no subject
I wish you all the luck.
no subject
And then very quickly turns away with the broom to keep cleaning up because DON'T LOOK AT HIM.]
no subject
there is the feeling like she feels like she won? she grabs some other cleaning supplies and goes for some blood. ]
