Rise and shine; you know how Saturdays go. Even if you'd rather sleep in, you'll find yourself waking up and getting out of bed. Once you're out of your room, a door appears down the hallway, compelling you to walk towards it. Upon entering, you'll discover a room that's familiar if you've gone exploring this week or possibly from even before then:

MAIN MEETING HALL (VILLAGE)
Should anyone venture inside, they'll find a number of long benches set up against the walls. At the head of the building are two chairs, a sun and a moon carved into the back of each. The area in the center is wide open, allowing plenty of space to move around and while decor is lacking, hanging from the walls are several blank scrolls. There's also a large (blank) scroll above the two chairs in the back.

There are a few tables in here behind room dividers. One is labeled 'Evidence' while the rest are covered in white sheets. Elsewhere in the room is a table with pencils and slips of paper for voting.

Welcome to your seventh trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the murders. Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST to 5pm EST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes 9pm EST. Voting is mandatory in this game.

[Sebastian and Yuri will find themselves inside the McBucks, right at the entrance.

It's... a mess! There are streaks of some kinds of substances everywhere, and likewise they'll want to watch their step lest they step on something.]

[ he will kneel down to look at some of the Substances on the floor? do they look/smell familiar from a reasonable distance? please say this is condiments ]

if sebastian is taking one for the team and looking at the Substances, yuri will checking the cEILING. and then he'll move slowly in the direction of the coffee counter -- anything afoot over here? someone setting themselves up for a caffeine high? ]

[At the entrance, where Sebastian kneels down, he will find some petals. But yes, a lot of the substances are red and yellow and smell condiment-y, while others are white and more creamy-looking. A lot of it, on the floor, looks smeared.

Nothing on the ceiling!

There's nothing especially notable about the coffee counter, though some of the aforementioned mess has probably found its way here. As Yuri moves further away from the entrance, though, the white, creamy mess begins to intensify in volume on the floor. Mixed in with it are flecks of brown, as well as more colourful pieces.]

[ hm. i greatly dislike this description, but does the creamy white stuff look to be milk or whipped cream or something? please

is there anything to be inferred from the way the smears look? are there any prints, does it look like someone slipped in them or tried to wipe the floor before giving the fuck up? ]

[Okay, I'll be nice. The creamy white stuff looks like ice cream, Sebastian would presumably recognize ice cream.

There are no discernible prints because it's a giant mess, but they do look like maybe shoes were sliding across the floor.

As for the stuff mixed in with the CREAMY WHITE STUFF BECKS, they do look possibly edible... Anyway, the white stuff isn't particularly melted or un-melted.




Also the amount of creamy white stuff on the floor seems like it's... still increasing...?]

[ is there the sound of a machine whirring nearby? this is, of course, totally inaccurate to real life and very unfair. the mcblurry machines would never work this long without breaking. ]

[There's no clear pattern to follow in the mess, it is just a Mess. But it doesn't seem to originate where Yuri is, at least. In fact, the volume of CREAMY WHITE STUFF is increasing from the other side of the room...? Which is also where there may be a whirring sound.]

[Behind the counter, there are Happy Meal boxes resting on top of napkins, more red and yellow streaks everywhere, and... an ice cream machine! Chugging out ice cream nonstop, which might have to do with the fact that it looks broken, what with the prominent slash across it.]

[ hmm. anything else around the machine? is there anything notable about the slash mark -- is it wide or thin, which direction is it angled? ]

[There might be a plug or something, but there doesn't seem to be anything of note by the machine besides the ice cream. The slash mark is of a [mumbles] angle, and while the slash is relatively long, it's not hugely wide or thin.]

[ he will... carefully go behind the counter and look for a plug, i guess?? ]

So we have a broken machine. Slash mark, quite long.

[ ... can he clamber up on the counter and try to force the top open to see the area where the ice cream would be? partially because holy crap how much ice cream does this thing hold, and obviously because the pink in the pink ice cream had to come from somewhere in the machine... right? :( ]

[I'm making the executive decision that ice cream machines are not large enough to hold a corpse unless we're talking about Pikachu here. Sure, Yuri can open it up, but there's nothing inside that suggest that it'd be causing pink. In fact, all of the new ice cream that it'd been chugging out pre-pulling the plug was white!

There are no lumps on the floor besides more of the candy toppings, but the pink does seem to intensify in the area where the Happy Meal boxes rest on a counter.]
