Good morning, esteemed guests. You had quite an eventful weekend, didn't you? Let's see how you're able to move on now...

As you awaken on Monday, you’ll find that things are just as they were the night before. The kitchen will serve piping hot breakfast during the morning hours, the pool’s been stocked with fresh towels and the gardens are open for anyone who wishes to spend some time among nature. However, should you explore a bit, you’ll find that a few new changes have been made to the hotel itself.

Your room service menus are still on your desks if you wish to browse before leaving for the day.

The front door no longer spins endlessly, for one thing. Should you make an attempt to exit the hotel, you will find yourself entering a new location. Some of you may even find this place familiar. However, you will find that upon entering the location, the area to the north is fixed to one place.

In addition, should you enter the elevator you will find a new button appears, proudly reading 05. Pushing this button will take you to a new floor where you will also find a few new areas to peruse. Explore to your heart’s content, get to know more of the hotel, and take your time in learning more about each other.

After everything last week, you may feel like it's time to put all of your feelings back inside and bury them away. You were...affectionate? How embarrassing for you. Perhaps that's something you'd like to forget. Conveniently for you...that may happen to you this week. Throughout the week, guests will find that they will experience small instances of "loss" occurring to them. You may find yourself losing certain memories, certain skills, or even certain senses. Don't worry, they will always come back after a while! But it seems that these instances come and go without warning. Hopefully you can prepare yourself for that.

Finally, for those of you with a spare ticket in your pocket, feel free to visit the Starlight Gift Shop, stocked with new items for this week.

[in a corner of the ballroom, lepus seems to be attempting to become invisible. vulpecula, meanwhile, is not having it; they have grabbed lepus's arm and are trying to pull them out to come spend time with the guests. the two of them are bickering in the same way they end up doing every time they're at trial together.

ORION + VIRGO

[at some point after the ball has been going on for a bit, you may catch gemini pulling virgo over to orion and saying something that sounds like "keep an eye on them so they don't cause any trouble". orion and virgo can be found together after that, with virgo peering around and looking like they want to wander off somewhere while orion seems to be reluctantly performing babysitting duty.

[ virgo can try looking for a way out all they want, but canopus is going to block their path. she's baby and means no harm by it! she just wishes to say hewwo!

meanwhile, diluc will come up and join orion. ]

AQUARIUS + VIRGO

[wander away from the noisiest parts of the ball itself, and you'll find two staff members on the ground somewhere in the castle's halls. virgo is seated with their back to the wall, and aquarius seems to be dead asleep on their lap. virgo lifts a finger to their veil about where their lips would be. shhh.

[ what if i just tag this with tanhua instead of hua cheng at first?

he does this in response to virgo holding their finger up, before slowly creeping forward. shockingly, he does not try to attack or startle virgo - instead, he moves to curl up close to aquarius, before putting his head on them very delicately and his tails near virgo's legs. ]

GEMINI + AQUILA

[ at some point during the night, there's a squawking noise that sounds like most of a protest and the sound of someone laughing - passerby might see aquila pulling gemini free of their patrol roaming and dragging them straight onto the dance floor, much to their chagrin.

[anyway, gemini is just smacking aquila's shoulders a little.]

AQUARIUS.

[now that they're more awake, you will find aquarius occasionally drifting from room to room like they can't quite settle again. it's more obvious to see that they're also wearing a bowtie but they pay no mind to it. should anyone glance in their direction, they'll lift a gloved hand in a wave.]

[ waves back with an equally gloved hand! ]

Yeah, it is! ...I'm better at these kinds of parties than the other kind.

Right? Nice bowtie, by the way. It's never too early for Halloween.

[ at some point during the evening, orion stops by with a small plate of snacks and a water for aquarius, setting them a little off to their side so they're within reach wherever aquarius has settled down again. ]

AQUILA.

[ aquila, uniformed but sporting an appropriately matching bowtie with a small golden charm underneath it, seems to be enjoying themselves very much as they chaperone. they almost always have a flute of champagne in their hand, and can be found drinking like a fish off to the side, or mingling with the guests.

occasionally, they'll put their hand to their chest and bow with a flourish to a guest, and then offer out their free, gloved hand with a - ] Can I have this dance?

Only if you're not a stumbling drunk by the time you get out there.

CETUS.

[cetus is here, in uniform but with a pink bow tie attached. they mostly hang around the food, seeming content to just snack on a few treats and observe everyone else.

should anyone approach, they'll nod in acknowledgment.]

GEMINI.

[gemini can be found roaming the castle seemingly on patrol, though they tend to linger in the ballroom more often than not and always seem to have a glass of something or a treat in-hand. they're in their usual uniform, but they've added an additional bow tie like other members of the staff. they appear to be people-watching, ensuring you're all behaving, but if anyone approaches they greet you with a short bow of acknowledgement.]

Good evening. I assume you've been on your best behavior.

LEPUS.

[after the fiasco with vulpecula, lepus can be found perched on a ledge near the ballroom ceiling. like the others, they're in uniform but with a bow tie attached. they nibble on a few snacks that they absconded with, but otherwise, they're apparently determined not to participate in any of this.]

ORION.

[ orion is here in their uniform, with a red and black bowtie attached to their collar. they seem perfectly content to stand by the doors and watch the others, and don't seem to eat or drink much of anything, or move too much from their post at all. if you approach them, they give a slight nod and gesture out to the dance floor. ]

[at some point after aquarius is awake but before they've been given to orion to be babysat, virgo can be found skulking about in the ballroom, fiddling with a bejeweled bowtie at their neck. they seem to be keeping mostly out of the way and are looking around with a similar sort of nervous energy as they have had during the trials. when you approach, they seem a little startled.]

VULPECULA.

[vulpecula is here! they're in their usual uniform, except this time they've added a... wooden bow tie? it's fine. they're standing by the wall watching you all have fun, as a chaperone is wont to do, but occasionally if you're nearby you might catch them humming along with whatever music is playing at the time. when they see you approach, they greet you with a nod.]
